FORK UNION, VA – Fork Union Military Academy hosted 53 schools this past Saturday at the Fred Hardy Cross Country Course for the 28th Annual Fork Union Invitational, one of the largest and most competitive meets in the region.
The Blue Devils placed 13th overall in the Colonial Division and earned a strong runner-up finish in the Sabre Division.

In the Colonial Division, junior David Eaton led the way for the Blue Devils with a time of 16:47.3 to place 20th overall, while
Robert Callahan finished close behind in 27th at 17:01.4. The Colonial Division featured an impressive 206 competitors.
In the Sabre Division (two-mile run), Fork Union placed six runners inside the top 16. Nhan Hoang paced the squad with an eighth-place finish at 12:32.9, followed by James Brubaker in ninth at 12:34.4. William Zeron (12th, 12:51.7),
Kimari Sutton (13th, 12:58.8), Brayden Ferguson (14th, 13:00.4), and Christian Mukhisa (16th, 13:12.3) rounded out a dominant performance.
The day also saw two new course records set: Ethan Apicella (Western Albemarle) in the Boys Sabre Division and Samson Palmer (Charlottesville) in the Boys Colonial Division.
