SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Cross Country team turned in an outstanding performance Saturday at the Virginia Showcase held at Pole Green Park, finishing second overall out of 43 schools. Competing in the Boys Small Schools Division, the Blue Devils placed three runners in the top 40 to secure their podium finish.

"Our first time in a long time being in a really large race—over 300 runners," said head coach Winston Brown. "Our guys did a great job staying focused in such a massive field. The really good news is that I think we can run even better than we did."
