SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Cross Country team claimed the top spot at the annual James River Challenge on Wednesday, finishing first overall out of eight competing teams at the Fred Hardy Cross Country Course. The Blue Devils dominated the field, placing five runners in the top 10 to secure the team championship.
QUOTE: "We were certainly a little tired from the past weekend's trip to Bristol but we did a great job of executing team running," said head coach Winston Brown. "We have a great opportunity these next two weeks to get better for the last half of the season."
