FORK UNION, VA — The Fork Union Military Academy Postgraduate Lacrosse program completed a historic 2025–2026 campaign, finishing with a program-best 21-6 overall record while continuing to establish itself as one of the nation's rising postgraduate lacrosse programs.
In just the program's second season, the Blue Devils set a new program record for wins, played 27 games against a highly competitive national schedule, and saw 15 of the 16 players on the roster earn college commitments to continue their lacrosse careers at the next level.
Fork Union's postgraduate squad excelled on both ends of the field throughout the season, scoring 353 total goals while averaging 13.07 goals per game. Defensively, the Blue Devils allowed just 162 goals all season for an impressive 6.0 goals-against average, while also posting a dominant 70 percent faceoff win percentage and a 65 percent goalie save percentage.
The Blue Devils also proved themselves against collegiate competition, earning 10 wins over college programs during the season, including victories against NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, NCLL, and JUCO opponents.
Fork Union particularly shined on the national recruiting stage, compiling an outstanding 11-1 combined record across two premier showcase events in Maryland. The Blue Devils went 5-1 at the Autumn Gold Showcase and finished a perfect 6-0 at the National High School Lacrosse Showcase (NHSLS).
"This second year was a landmark for our postgraduate program," said head coach and associate athletic director
Chris Panos. "We set a program record for wins while continuing to excel academically, reflecting the dedication of our players on and off the field. They fully embraced our culture, prioritized relationships, and embodied a team-first mentality. Their commitment, discipline, and unity have built a foundation for even greater success in the years ahead."
The program's success extended well beyond the field. Fork Union's postgraduate lacrosse team earned a remarkable 4.02 cumulative GPA across all four academic terms while collectively receiving more than $2 million in academic and athletic scholarship offers. The group ultimately accepted more than $1.5 million in scholarship funding.
The 16-man roster featured student-athletes from across the United States and Canada, representing Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Ohio, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Leading the way among the program's 15 college commitments was Elijah Pawluk-Zacarias, who signed with Mercyhurst University at the NCAA Division I level.
Two additional players signed with NAIA programs, including
Reymar Hare at St. Thomas University and
Mason Simle at Indiana Institute of Technology.
Following a strong inaugural season and a record-setting second campaign, Fork Union Military Academy's postgraduate lacrosse program continues to gain momentum as a premier developmental destination for student-athletes seeking to elevate their game both academically and athletically.
Designed for high school graduates as well as rising juniors and seniors, the program allows student-athletes to continue training at a high level while earning college credits through dual enrollment and gaining valuable exposure and confidence before transitioning to college lacrosse.
"If you're ready to challenge yourself, stand out, and train at an elite level, I want to hear from you," Panos added. "FUMA provides a distinct competitive edge and a disciplined environment in every aspect, giving players the tools to achieve great things. We offer financial aid, and this opportunity does not impact any college eligibility."
Recruitment remains open for student-athletes in the graduating classes of 2026, 2027, and 2028.
