SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Postgraduate Lacrosse team remained undefeated after an outstanding performance at Saturday's tri-match hosted by Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. The Blue Devils swept all three games against collegiate opponents, defeating NCAA Division II Davis & Elkins College, 5–3, followed by convincing wins over NCAA Division III programs Bethany College (14–1) and Washington & Jefferson College (12–2).
The Blue Devils displayed exceptional balance on both sides of the ball, showcasing unselfish offensive play, stifling defense, and strong execution in faceoffs and ground ball battles.
QUOTE: "Even with a few key injuries, our guys showed incredible grit, resiliency, and focus throughout the day," said head coach Chris Panos. "This was a complete team effort, disciplined, connected, and relentless from start to finish. Offensively, nearly 80 percent of our goals were assisted, which speaks to our unselfishness and chemistry. Defensively, holding three college teams to just six total goals show the kind of toughness and communication we're developing. It was a great step forward for our program."
