SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Swimming program delivered an outstanding performance on Senior Day, earning victories against Fluvanna County, Miller School, Louisa County, and Christian Heritage Academy in their final home meet of the season. The Blue Devils' dominance in the pool was complemented by special recognition of their senior swimmers.

QUOTE: "Being our last home meet of the season, we started off by highlighting our senior swimmers: Daley Adams, Seth Cella, Peyton Cottey, Sean Hurley, and Nic Willis," said head coach Jon Larson. "The highlight of the meet was Peyton Cottey achieving his first VISAA State qualifying time in the 50 Free, beating the mark by over a second—a significant margin in such a short race! Andres Olalla Casas also made a strong effort, just missing the state qualifying time in the 400 Free by half a second. For our newer swimmers, home meets are a great opportunity to compete, and all the coaches have been impressed by their improvement throughout the season. Our focus now is encouraging more swimmers to try different events."
