FORK UNION, Va. – Ninth-grader Logan French led the Fork Union Military Academy Junior Prep basketball team to a 42-23 victory over John Paul the Great Friday at the Thomas Gym.
 
"It was a spirited effort in all phases of the game," said head coach Reggie Barnette. "We looked like a team that was riding the wave of a four-game winning streak."
 
French led the squad with nine points.
 
Fork Union returns to action Friday, Feb. 9 when it travels to Christchurch School for a 4 p.m. tip.
