FORK UNION, Va. – Eighth-grader
Kobe Edmonds' 22 points helped lift the Fork Union Military Academy Junior Prep basketball team to a 55-43 victory Tuesday evening at the Thomas Gym.
"After a string of tough losses, it felt good to finally get back in the win column," said head coach
Reggie Barnette. "The guys have been busting their tails in practice and our win against Trinity was a direct result of it. We executed on both ends of the court the best we have all year and received great contributions off the bench from Jackson Mangclimont and
Marcus Billingslea."
In addition to Edmonds, ninth-grader
Logan French also tallied double-figures with 12 points.
The Blue Devils return to action Friday, Jan. 26 when they travel to Richmond to face Trinity Episcopal at 4:30 p.m.
