FORK UNION, VA – The Fork Union Military Academy Junior Prep basketball team recorded its first win of the season as it defeated Woodberry Forest, 54-29, Tuesday evening at the Thomas Gym.
 
The win improves the Blue Devils to 1-1 overall.
 
"It was a great team win," said head coach Reggie Barnette. "There are a lot of positives but there are still some things we have to clean up before our next game. I was happy that everyone played a good amount and all contributed in a positive manner."
 
Chrishawn Hickman led both teams with 16 points.
 
The Blue Devils will return to action Thursday, Dec. 14 when they host the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 4:30 p.m.
