SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's track and field program was active across multiple venues this past weekend, with student-athletes competing in three different meets.
The Blue Devils opened the outdoor season at the annual Brian Watkins Invitational at Potomac Senior High School, recording 12 top-15 finishes. Meanwhile, the middle school squad turned in an impressive performance at Louisa County's Middle School Invitational, earning six top-five finishes, including two individual event champions.
In addition to the outdoor competitions, two Blue Devils represented the Academy on the national stage at the Adidas Indoor Nationals in Virginia Beach.
