SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's indoor track and field program earned a seventh-place finish at the 2026 VISAA State Championships on Thursday in Virginia Beach. The Blue Devils recorded three top-five performances, highlighted by two medalists and strong relay performances throughout the meet.

Winston Brown. "We had 23 athletes make the trip and 15 score points. We scored in all three relays and had two individuals reach the podium in
Bryant Ray and
Robert Callahan.
"Callahan ran an amazing race, closing in 29 seconds over the final 200 meters and executing a negative split. As a team, we had nine personal bests at the meet. It was a really good day for us on such a quick turnaround from the Prep League Championships."
