SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Middle School Basketball team earned a convincing 38–23 road victory over Keswick School on Thursday afternoon, improving to 2–2 on the season.
After trailing early, Fork Union responded with strong defensive pressure and balanced scoring, pulling away in the second half to secure the win.
QUOTE: "It felt great to get this win as a team," said head coach Darren Keithley. "We followed the game plan, showed real resilience and stick-with-it-ness, battling back when we were behind and then finishing strong to seal the victory. Everyone stepped up and played together as a team. We were led by Cadet Gakio, who dropped a team-high 21 points, and Cadet Layne, who set up several teammates beautifully for great shots."
