SHORT STORY:
Fork Union Military Academy's Postgraduate Basketball team picked up two impressive wins at its annual Military Circuit this past weekend, hosting 11 competitive teams over a thrilling three-day stretch at Thomas Gymnasium.
QUOTE: "I thought the weekend event was outstanding—great teams and players. The Military Circuit and EPL games were tremendous," said Head Coach
Bob Williams.
"Winning 2 out of 3 games isn't bad, especially against strong opponents like Golden State Prep and EPL rival Canada Top Flight. We battled hard against Mt. Zion in an electric environment here at Thomas Gym. The crowd's energy was incredible, and Mt. Zion showed why they're ranked No. 2 in the country. We struggled to contain Chris Jeffery, who's headed to Maryland next year after dropping 32 points."
"A huge shoutout to John Blake and his staff for running a top-notch event. Fork Union really put its best foot forward, and we received great feedback from the EPL and visiting teams about their experience this weekend."
