Fork Union Earns 24-12 Road Win over Wagner College (JV)

DATE: Friday, October 10, 2025
LOCATION: Staten Island, NY | Wagner College Stadium
SCORE: PG Football 24, Wagner College JV 12
RECORD: 4–3

SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Postgraduate Football team delivered a strong road performance Friday afternoon, defeating Wagner College's JV squad, 24–12, at Wagner College Stadium in Staten Island, New York. The Blue Devils controlled both sides of the ball throughout the game to secure the win and improve to 4–3 on the season.

Kicker Tristam Naifeh opened the scoring with a 12-yard field goal, giving Fork Union early momentum. Shortly after, Keinard Tyler ignited the defense with a pick-six, returning an interception for a touchdown. Naifeh added the extra point to extend the lead.

The offense continued to roll behind rushing touchdowns from Chase Belin and Alex Bryson, each followed by successful extra points from Naifeh. Fork Union's balanced offensive attack featured powerful runs by Ethan Medley, Bryson, Belin, and Reilly Bechtel, complemented by key receptions from Carter Harrod, Carter Reid, Okie Edwards, Tyler, Bechtel, and Dominic Diaz-Ellis.

Defensively, the Blue Devils were relentless. The unit consistently pressured Wagner's offense, highlighted by sacks from Willie DeSantis, Aidan Washington, Jack Earley, and John Welborn, who recorded multiple sacks. Washington, Raymond Vanover, and Alex Moore each added tackles for loss. The defining defensive moment came late in the game when Earley forced a strip sack recovered by Washington, ending a Wagner drive and sealing the victory.

QUOTE: "We played together in all three phases of the game and it showed," said head coach Frank Arritt. "Our guys executed the game plan, stayed disciplined, and made big plays when it mattered most."

UP NEXT: Fork Union continues its road stretch Sunday, October 19, traveling to Ithaca College for its next matchup at 1 p.m.
