"I would first like to thank my family. I was blessed to grow up in a basketball family," said Williams. "My father was a long-time basketball coach, and I knew by the time I was 13 that this is what I wanted to do. Reaching this milestone is something I never thought would happen. It's a testament to the longevity of staying in the game, working hard, and striving to be professional. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I've had to coach at so many great schools, and I especially want to thank Fork Union Military Academy for this moment. This milestone wouldn't have been possible without the support of all my former teams, administrators, and the players who trusted me to guide them. To my current team—you're an amazing group, and I can't wait to follow your careers and see what you accomplish. Thank you for being part of this journey."
The Blue Devils return to action Saturday, January 18 when they host Experience Prep Academy at 2 p.m. at the Thomas Gymnasium.
