SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's postgraduate football team closed out their season in commanding fashion, defeating fellow postgraduate powerhouse Putnam Science Academy 48-20 this past Sunday at Stadium Field. The Blue Devils capped their season with an impressive 7-3 overall record, marking another successful year for the program.

QUOTE: "It was a positive day for our program," said head coach Frank Arritt. "All of our running backs ran hard and found the end zone. Our defense was spectacular, and special teams made a big impact. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd, and it was great to see several alumni return to campus, including two of my former players, Marius Landfeld (Class of 2022) and Esom Najiofar (Class of 2023)."
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Zahire Mike and Tyson Mallory each recorded rushing touchdowns, with Darius Johnson leading the charge with two scores.
• GaBron Polk added a touchdown reception.
• On defense, Charles Robinson and Luis Navarro each recorded a pick-six, while Nick Jones also had an interception.
• Travon Dye forced a fumble, which was recovered by Dagan Wayland.
• Special teams made a strong contribution with Jacob Speller connecting on four PATs and Tyler Allison securing a two-point conversion with a key catch.
