FORK UNION, Va. – Senior Michael Cunningham of Fork Union Military Academy's Prep basketball team has been named to the All-Virginia Prep League First Team, the league announced this past weekend.
 
In addition to Cunningham, the Blue Devils earned the Sportsmanship Award along with Collegiate.
 
Cunningham is a 6-foot-2 guard from Newport News, Va., who recorded a career-high 60 points against Christchurch School on Jan. 5 that set a school record. The senior averaged 17 points per game, two assists per game, four rebounds per game and two steals per game.
