SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's indoor track and field program hosted the 37th annual Fred Hardy Invitational on Friday at the Estes Athletic Center. The Blue Devils turned in a strong showing, recording 13 top-five finishes, including two event titles.

KEY PERFORMERS:Â
- The 4x200 relay won the event with a time of 1:37.62.
- The 4x400 relay claimed first place with a time of 3:42.20.
- Elijah Green impressed in the middle school division, earning a pair of second-place finishes in the 55-meter (7.77) and 500-meter (1:26.92).
- Javier Rosa cleared 39 feet in the triple jump to qualify for the state meet and place sixth overall.
- David Eaton finished fourth in the 1000-meter run (2:47.52).
- Robert Callahan placed fourth in the 500-meter run (1:11.86).
