The Fork Union Military Academy Varsity Football team opened its season in thrilling fashion, rallying from an eight-point halftime deficit to secure a 26-21 come-from-behind victory over Catholic High School in Virginia Beach. Trailing 14-6 at the break, the Blue Devils wasted no time shifting momentum, as
Nehemiah Allen broke a screen pass for a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the second half. The offense tacked on two more touchdowns to seal the win, while strong contributions in all three phases, offense, defense, and special teams, proved decisive.

KEY PERFORMERS:
- Offense: Nehemiah Allen – 16 rushes, 212 yards, 2 touchdowns, including a 75-yard score. Offensive line (Mondesir, Aamoo, Jenkins, Wiley, Watts, and Gray) paved the way for 250+ rushing yards.
- Special Teams: Landskroener averaged 35 yards on two punts. Ray added a 51-yard kickoff return and a rushing two-point conversion.
- Defense: Mishra – 8 tackles, 1 tackle for loss. Mondesir – 6 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 sack, and 2 quarterback pressures.
