FORK UNION, VA — Fork Union Military Academy was well represented on the 2025 All-Virginia Prep League Football Team, with six Blue Devils earning postseason honors following a strong season under first-year head coach
Dealton Cotton.
Coach Cotton was named Virginia Prep League Coach of the Year after leading Fork Union to its most wins since 2019 and reinvigorating the Blue Devils' competitive spirit. The Academy was also recognized with the Sportsmanship Award, a testament to the team's integrity, discipline, and leadership on and off the field.

John Blake. "The Varsity Football team made great strides this season under Coach Cotton's leadership, and he deserves this honor. It's always great when coaching peers recognize a great job that isn't based solely on wins and losses. We're equally proud of our four athletes who earned All-Prep recognition, an outstanding reflection of their hard work, dedication, and the continued progress of our football program."
Fork Union Military Academy All-Virginia Prep League Honorees
Nehemiah Allen – Junior – Running Back
A native of Beaverdam, Virginia, Allen totaled 1,019 rushing yards on 121 carries, averaging 101.9 yards per game and 8.4 yards per carry. He recorded 14 rushing touchdowns, along with five receptions for 114 yards and one receiving touchdown.
Bryant Ray – Senior – Athlete (Offense)
Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, Ray totaled 233 yards on 12 returns, including a 68-yard long, and added 206 receiving yards on 12 catches with one touchdown. He also contributed 136 rushing yards on 12 carries with three touchdowns, averaging 11.3 yards per carry.
Julius Mondesir – Senior – Defensive Lineman
From Lynn, Massachusetts, Mondesir registered 47 total tackles, including 33 solo stops, along with three sacks, 14 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble.
Joshua Landskroener – Senior – Punter
A native of Beavercreek, Ohio, Landskroener averaged 35.1 yards per punt on 20 attempts, totaling 702 yards, with a season-long of 46 yards.
Fork Union finished the 2025 season with a 4-5 record and showcased resilience and growth under new leadership.
As the program looks ahead to 2026, Fork Union remains focused on building upon this momentum, continuing its proud tradition of developing young men of faith, character, and athletic excellence.
