The Fork Union Military Academy varsity soccer team opened the season with an impressive, 9-1, victory over the Miller School of Albemarle Thursday afternoon at Rightmyer Field.

What an impressive start! This is the first time varsity soccer has:

• opened a season with a win since September 22, 2020, when the Blue Devils defeated the Virginia Homeschool League, 5-0.
• scored 8-plus goals since October 28, 2022, when the Blue Devils defeated Fishburne School, 9-0.
• defeated the Miller School of Albemarle in over 8 years.

Varsity soccer returns to action Tuesday, September 10 against Fishburne Military at 4 PM.
