Fork Union Military Academy Athletics

Reginald "Reggie" Barnette was hired in August of 2016 as an athletic intern, coaching PG football and Junior Prep basketball, and working in the Commandant's Department. After a year and a half, Barnette was promoted to an Admissions Counselor and named the Defensive Coordinator for the Prep football team. 

In 2019, Barnette helped the Prep football team to its first VISAA Playoff appearance since 2012. 

On July 24, 2020, the Salem, Va., native was named the head coach of the Prep Basketball Program. 

Barnette is a 2015 graduate of the University of Richmond.
