SHORT STORY: Fork Union Military Academy's Postgraduate Football team earned a 39-21 victory over the Bridgewater College JV squad Sunday, using a balanced offensive attack, disruptive defense, and strong special teams play to secure the road win.

The Blue Devils found success on the ground behind strong offensive line play, with Aime Lamour (Maricopa, AZ) and Preston Mbony (Burtonsville, MD) each rushing for touchdowns. Quarterback David Howe (Gainesville, VA) connected with Maurice Barnes (Harrisburg, PA) for a touchdown out of the backfield, while Jeffery Walker (Maricopa, AZ) threw touchdown passes to Carter Robinson (Clifton, VA) and Jacob Eley (Montgomery, AL).

Defensively, Robert Trotter (Upper Marlboro, MD) provided one of the biggest plays of the game, opening the second half with an interception returned for a touchdown. Trotter also recovered a fumble forced by himself and Germain Green, Jr (Portsmouth, VA), while Fork Union's defensive front consistently pressured the Bridgewater quarterback. Jesus Wright (Virginia Beach, VA), Prince-Abraham Ajao (Hyattsville, MD), and Hezekiah Fox (Richmond, VA) combined for a sack, with Wright adding another sack later in the contest.

Fork Union's special teams unit also helped provide favorable field position throughout the game, while Lamour converted a pair of extra points.
